I want

to be a blessing to my kids when they are adults. I am inspired by what Katherine wrote about her mom. I aspire to be make such an impact.

10 Blessings within a Meter

I got saw this at Sing for Joy and couldn\’t pass this up - especially after getting all frustrated about Cole keeping me up most of the night. So, here are 10 blessings that are within one meter of where I am sitting at my computer.

1. Cute and happy pictures of my children smothered all over my wall.

2. The refigerator - food!

3. Baby swing and Johnny Jump up - happy healthy baby!

4. Phone lists - friendships!

5. Blue prints - a new house (6-10 months away, but a bigger place!)

6. Cash - able to pay the bills:)

7. iPod - music, music, music!

8. Cook book - I can read and I love to bake!

9. Calculator - I don\’t have to do math in my head.

10. Baby blanket and ball on my desk… life is not all work:)

shiftlessness

that is what happens when baby wont sleep at 230 am, 3 am, 4 am… and mommy isnt sleeping, what is left to do… baby is happy on lap while mommy types with one hand - minus the shift bar, thus no capitals, apostrophes and certain punctuation marks, can i actally phrase a question without a question mark…. deep thoughts instead of deep sleep. cant do those silly smiley faces with the colon symbol either… but i can do these symbols…-=`[];\’,./ cool. this just took my right hand 2 hours to type. now my left hand is asleep and soaking in baby drool. i guess the click of the keyboard worked better than the rocking chair this morning……………..
